About SmartCrop Pro

SmartCrop Pro is an explainable deep-learning system for detecting plant leaf diseases from a single photograph. It combines a fine-tuned EfficientNetB3 classifier with Grad-CAM visual explanations, a curated agronomy remedy knowledge base, and an edge exportable model for offline field use.

Pipeline

  • Image preprocessing: resize → CLAHE contrast → normalization
  • Augmentation: rotation, shift, zoom, brightness, motion blur, noise
  • Model: EfficientNetB3 (ImageNet-init, two-phase fine-tune)
  • Ensembling + temperature-scaling calibration
  • Explainability: Grad-CAM heatmap localization
  • Export: Keras · TFLite · ONNX · TensorRT
